Cha… Cha… Changes

Good Morning! Welcome to the new Home Everyday. What do you think?

A few months ago, I had decided that I wanted Home Everyday to seem more custom and reflect more of my style. I knew that I could probably handle some minor changes like social media icons, layout, and background design, but I am no way a graphic designer. I knew that I would need an expert.
Because of Brian’s area of work, he knows a few graphic designers, and referred me Kevin West of Visique Production. Thank goodness I didn’t have to go far to see help.
I must say I was concerned to hand over the reins to someone who might not see my vision or understand my creativity. However, this was not a probably with Kevin.
We talked about design ideas, things that I liked, things I didn’t. We talked color, shape, and sites I admire. Once we talked it through, Kevin took over, and created a beautiful header. We also did a little tweaking to make it perfect. I was so happy when it was finished.
I really like that it looks like a cozy place in our home. I love that Kevin incorporated a family photo into the mix. I really love the texture of the frame and wood table, and the lamp. I wish I could find one just like that.
I’m starting to feel that Home Everyday is a little more personal, and a little more my style. There may be a few more tweaks in the coming weeks, so please bear with me.
I hope that you find this a little easier on the eyes, and continue to make visits to Home Everyday.

  1. Loving the changes! What a great header! I also think the chevron is awesome 🙂 We have been major sick at my house and I am dying to try out PicMonkey after your tutorial. I have been very close to trying it in in the middle of the night while everyone is asleep!

    1. Thank you so much, Nikki! I'm so sorry that everyone at your place isn't feeling well! I hope they are getting better. As for trying things out in the middle of the night… I know what you mean. This is how these changes were made. Thank goodness my kids still nap so I can lie down too 🙂

      Take care,
      Erin
