I am Erin. A midwestern living, comedy loving, cherry pop drinking, lover of all things domestic. As I have always had a passion for writing, Home Everyday began as a way to chronicle all of my do it yourself, culinary, crafting, and lifestyle adventures, triumphs, and missteps. Since starting Home Everyday, I have also began writing at ChicagoNow with my blog South of I80 and have become a regular contributor at Chicago Parent as a member of their blogger network. I have also contributed to the online women’s humor magazine In the Powder Room. My love of humor lead me to the Chicago’s prestigious Second City Training Center where I completed the writing program, and while a student there was able to participate in the Mary Scruggs Works by Women Comedy Festival. I have also had the honor to have been cast in both the 2013 and 2015 Listen to Your Mother Chicago Shows with my pieces The Perfect Mother and a duet The Mom Club.
My greatest accomplishments by far, however, are my family. I am the wife to a supportive, hardworking, and hysterical husband, Brian.
Together, we have three children all born in a span of thirty-three months.
Thank you for visiting Home Everyday. I hope you enjoy browsing around.
